COMPETENCY BASED TRAINING FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS.

 

For Life Management (F.L.M. is a division of F.T.W. Enterprises) was developed to

serve the competency based training needs of hospital safety & security officers,

also, the hospitals, patients, and community that they serve.

 

 

We also have developed several workshops for the safety & security of

ALL HOSPITAL STAFF, thus the safety & security department becomes blended

with the hospital staff bringing its message of safety & security to all departments,

all shifts.

F. L. M. has designed a program of specific courses to meet the competency based training and re-certification requirements of the hospital safety & security officers, the safety & security departments & hospitals of today, with an eye on tomorrow!

F. L. M. was designed with several specific items in mind:

(a) STRONG training emphasis on verbalization & de-escalation skills.

 

(b) Up to date competency based hospital training and information.

 

(c) Time and cost efficient training and re-certification.

 

(d) Custom tailored hospital (not police) training and re-certification to meet the

hospital safety & security officers needs. Now, also the safety needs of

hospital staff.

 

(e) Competency based training designed to help hospital safety & security

officers & departments in the atmosphere of today's required training and

re-certification that is a must for meeting J.C.A.H.O. standards. Also, to

enhance funding, professionalism and to counter criminal / civil law suits

and torts.

 

(f) To help your officers & department meet the Joint Commission on

Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

 

F. L. M. is geared toward custom designing a competency based, affordable, training program to meet the specific needs of your officers and their departments.

 

Custom Tailored Training

F. L. M. will custom tailor training that can last from one day to several days, any time of day (all shifts). In-service training, re-certification, up dated training & workshops. Depending on your officers and your departments needs. You select from our growing list of training subjects offered and designed for hospitals and it's staff of today.

F. L. M. is dedicated to continuously upgrading, it's own staff's training to offer the most up-to-date techniques and information that we can pass along to our students.

F. L. M. has a goal to provide its students with close instructor to student training.

Thus, we offer a complete understanding of all force options available, with extra

emphasis on verbalization & de-escalation skills which are to be applied under

specific conditions that are acceptable to today's hospitals, courts and the

community & patients that the officer serves.

F. L. M. strives to provide the student with the latest, power point presentations,  updated handouts, films, slides, D.V.D. and V.C.R. tapes available in the training subject that are selected, by you.

Above all, F. L. M. staff will instill self confidence, professionalism, with insight into control and use-of-force situations that were previously not a part of the students options.

It's been the experience of the F. L. M. staff that the success of the training program is based on the staff achieving a solid understanding of your problems, goals, and needs. Thus allowing a custom tailored training program for your officers and department.

We at F. L. M. feel that one of the most important items that we offers is our investigation of the past training received by your officers. Our goal is to avoid repeated or conflicting training. We at F. L. M. (upon your request) will also review your departments S.O.P., rules and regulations and other items that have a bearing on the officer, so that the training that we offer will conform and contribute to the officers usefulness to the department, the hospital, the patients and the community they serve.

The F. L. M. staff has worked hard to make and offer competency based training that is realistic by use of simulations and role-playing to teach and involve our students with realistic situations that make learning an interesting and remembered experience for the officer, thus the cost of training is put into something the officer, the hospital and the patients they serve profit from.
